Is a Buddhist festival that marks Gautama Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and death. Celebrating Buddh Purnima also means making special efforts to bring happiness to the unfortunate like the aged, the handicapped and the sick.
9. Guru Nanak Jayanti…
Is the most important festival for the Sikh community. Sikhs congregate in Gurudwaras, help make and serve Langar to one and all and donate generously to a variety of causes. This festival is a shining example of sacrifice, respect and charity.
